The plane

AUTHOR’S NOTE: I thought of writing this because the book I am reading had a plane in it.

It can fly

through the sky

it has wings

not kings

It has people riding

on it when flying

it goes into airports

not sail ports   

Its an airplane

it goes into a lane

Peanut butter

AUTHOR'S NOTE: You should look for the rhyming in my poem. What inspired me to write this is my taste for peanut butter.

You know whats yummy,

in my tummy,

it’s peanut butter,

don’t throw it in a gutter,

you can eat,

it as treat,

you can mix it with jelly,

it will fill your belly,

it’s good with chocolate,

now go and rock it!






Nike 

Author's note: Nike makes products which I wear. I wear a lot of Nike. Also in this poem. you should look for the rhyming words.

Nike makes some shoes,

it might be worn by you,

Nike makes some shirts,

shirts that don’t hurt,

Nike makes some glasses,

but they don’t make gases,

now you know what they make,

do you want to go and take.

Swords Poem

 

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a poem about my favorite weapon swords. Look for the rhyming in my poem. 

 

Swords are great,

the materials are stronger than slate,

swords are a wonder,

some powerful like thunder,

swords are sometimes long,

they can make the sound bong,

swords come in many shapes,

most can also cut grapes,

they come in a size,

different for all guys,

as you can see this is a wonder,

this weapon can also be used to plunder.
