Trojan Horse

The conflict was that they were fighting over Helen. The conflict got resolved because the Greeks had tricked the Trojans into letting them into their palace while making them drunk and asleep so that their city Troy would easily fall. It was sneaky because they had tricked the Trojans so that they let them into their home but not only did they do that, they tricked them into partying so that they were drunk and asleep so that they could not fight for their city.

Nowadays this would probably not happen because people usually don't take in gifts that they don't know about. It could happen though because some people would still take a gift in and have that happen. This could happen at a school or business because the school could be gifted for something and they would take it in unknowingly and then the enemy would be there. And in the shop they could get a gift for having good items and then the enemy could ransack them. This has happened in many shows because they just wanted one episode to show the use of a Trojan horse. I have not seen it in real life however.
